 The Survival Story of Raju Gaule: A Short Film by A Bishal Lohani That Brings Nepal's Conflict Era to Life


Raju Gaule is a Nepali short movie produced by Pratiphal Films and presented by Ahuri Entertainment. Directed by Bishal Lohani, the movie tells the story of a boy named Raju who lives in a village and is affected by the conflict between the Maoist rebels (Mawobadi) and the Army during the conflict era in Nepal. The movie features Suraj Bishwakarma in the lead role along with ShalikGram, Radhika Kharti, Anjel Khatri(Tony), Chandra RamDam, Ganesh Aryal, Jeevan Pariyar, Anup Lamghade, Sanjay Bc, Anjaan Ghatane, Nashib Bc, Anish Lamghade and others.

Suraj Bishwakarma

Maoist rebels or "Mawobadi" force Raju to join them, promising him a better life and education. However, he soon finds himself in a position where he has to fight for the rebels and die for them against the government.
